Does anyone else

ever stay up at night just to watch the person they love sleep?

This is us, Holly and Jared.
Here’s a little background story for you.
We have been together since January 2012, but we were friends for six or seven months beforehand. We went to the same high school in Pottsboro, Texas, but he was a few years above me so I never knew him while we were in school. At the time we became friends (through Twitter and Facebook,) Jared had a girlfriend, and I was way too worried about guys that were not at all interested in me, more in smoking pot and drinking. He was a jokester, and I the girl he always made laugh. As the last months of 2011 rolled around, we started talking to each other more than before. We both considered each other to be someone to talk to whenever we needed them. Jared was having relationship problems and had been cheated on multiple times throughout the span of his three year on/off relationship. He was very invested in the relationship financially, however, and often expressed to me his unhappiness about how he felt as if he was stuck in the relationship. I was the one who always told him that it would be all right in the end, and that he deserved to be happy and treated well. He was there for me when I was very unhappy with myself and he always made me laugh with the crazy things he texted me. His old relationship finally ended for good in early January, and as he had been wanting out of it for quite some time, he was very happy. It was only a short time later that we went on our first date, to the Macaroni Grill in Frisco, Texas. Despite me being pretty quiet and shy that night, he still found me just as enthralling as I found him, and he asked me to be ‘his girl’ late that night.
It’s been quite the adventure since then. We are currently saving up to move into an apartment together. Sooner rather than later, hopefully. :)
We hope you stick around with us.
